100% Sangiovese, red ruby colour, characterized by fruity bouquet of cherry, blackberry, red fruit jam followed by floral scents of violet and iris. Touch of sweet spices and mineral smell of graphite. Good acidity and well tannic balanced in mouth with mineral aftertaste.
VINIFICATION AND AGEING: spontaneous fermentation in French
oak vats, up to 35 days. Ageing in French oak casks for 22 – 24 months. A
minimum of 24 months of bottle maturation follows.
